Goals of the Triennial Course in Counseling with NLP guidance
Counseling is a profession that orients, supports and develops the client’s potentials. Its aim is to promote active and proactive attitudes in the client and to stimulate his/her ability to choose. Counseling deals with non specific problems, as making decisions, improving personal relationships etc. limited to specific areas as family, job, school. (divided per year)
1st YEAR - NEURO LINGUISTIC PROGRAMMING TECHNIQUES (NLP Practitioner + NLP Practitioner Advanced) The term Practitioner means “user”. The basic NLP course, open to everyone, owes its name to an important purpose: using the techniques to change in order to achieve results in one’s personal and professional life. The program presents useful models to communicate, master emotions and develop goals. During the training period the participant will learn and practise the techniques. Participants are looked after by assistants all along the course. At the beginning of the path each one receives a detailed manual containing all information: theory of subjects, examples, exercises carried out in class. The course takes place in 18 days for a total amount of 130 learning hours. The content has been approved and certified by NLP University (nowadays top reference as far as NLP). 2ns YEAR - ADVANCED NLP PROGRAM (NLP Master + NLP Master Advanced)
The NLP Master course is an advanced program where you go further on the techniques learnt during the first year and you proceed on the path of your personal growth and development. The Master level relates to the term ‘mastery’ which means great ability and knowledge of the subject brought in everyday life, a philosophy of life. The one who gains this certification has improved his/her life, has learnt to be flexible, has achieved freedom from his/her limiting beliefs and is capable to set and reach the goals he/she sets to express him/herself in the world. The NLP Master Practitioner possesses skills using conscious and unconscious mind processes, with respect for him/herself, for others and for the environment. The course lasts seventeen days, for a total amount of a hundred and twenty-eight learning hours. The content has been approved and certified by NLP University (nowadays top reference as far as NLP). 3rd YEAR SPECIAL PROGRAM FOR COUNSELING (Relational Counseling) The systemic NLP approach is very pragmatic. It focuses on your well being and on your growth, rather than on the discomfort. It concentrates on life quality, rather than on suffering, on your personal growth, rather than on therapy. The client is helped to have access to his/her own resources by his/her facilitator, the Counselor. The third year techniques and personal growth merge in the professional dynamics. Trainers, who come from different specialized areas, change to integrate the lessons and to consolidate them in the path of self awareness by using different approaches as Voice Dialogue, Transactional Analysis, Bioenergetics and lessons drawn from Pedagogy and from Social Psychology. There are also hints of Psychopathology according to WHO. Special attention is given to the physical presence of the Counselor, that is to “how to be present”. During the lessons typical cases are studied and discussed and each participant learns and experiments how to face different situations, both on an individual basis, as Counselor, and with groups, as Trainer. Towards the middle of the path students start developing their essays, real training projects for a group of people, or for a single individual in the form of counseling.
